The Gurjaani Wine Festival, held for the sixth time in 2024, is the largest and most diverse wine festival in Georgia, the Black Sea region, and Eastern Europe.

In 2023, the festival hosted over 400 participants and more than 20,000 visitors, reflecting its growing popularity.

The festival features qvevri wines made by farmers, as well as a wide variety of wines of different types, colors, and ages produced by large and small wineries. Guests can also taste chacha and other beverages, as well as some of the best wines in Europe and the winners of the IWSC Wine Judging in Georgia.

Winemaker's Area

At the Winemaking Area, you will have the opportunity to taste and purchase some of the finest wines. The space will feature qvevri-made wines from farmers, as well as a wide variety of wines of different types, colors, and ages from large and small wineries.

In addition to wine, guests will be offered a selection of chacha and other traditional beverages. The event will also feature a competition to select the best wines, followed by an awards ceremony.

Entrepreneurship Area

In the Entrepreneurship Area visitors will meet representatives from ethnographic exhibitions that showcase traditional and cultural works. They will also encounter artisans and creators presenting their unique, handmade items.

Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a handicraft and themed work exhibition and sale, as well as explore ethnographic displays.

Children’s Area

The Children’s Area offers kids the opportunity to engage in a variety of fun and creative activities. We have planned entertaining games, enjoyable workshops, and educational programs especially for them.

The Children’s Space has everything needed for a safe, joyful, and unforgettable experience.

Tataraoba

Join a masterclass on making churchkhela and experience the taste of a Kakhetian tradition.

Kakhetian Mtsvadi Corner

Enjoy traditional Kakhetian mtsvadi, as well as a variety of other delicious Georgian dishes.
