For the second time, Georgia and the Gurjaani Wine Festival are proud to host the International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC) Wine Judging in Georgia, a globally recognized championship in wine and spirits.

This year, the star-studded panel of judges evaluated Georgian wines as well as exceptional selections from Azerbaijan and Armenia.

IWSC Wine Judging in Georgia 2024

From November 27 to December 1, 2023, the second International Wine Competition took place, showcasing 508 wines from 175 companies across three countries: Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia.

18 wines received gold medals, 72 received silver medals, and 220 received bronze medals.

According to the organizers, next year’s competition will have an even broader geographical scope, with other countries from Eastern Europe and the Black Sea region invited to participate.

IWSC Wine Judging in Georgia 2023

From October 12 to October 15, 2022, the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) was held in Georgia for the first time.

The jury awarded 16 gold, 63 silver, and 209 bronze medals to the winners.

A total of 487 wines participated in the competition.
